Training for Iron Man? Or maybe just working out?

We received a great suggestion from a triathlete training for Iron Man who says her training group is using Duzu Dates as an energy boost during their bike rides. They enjoy the chocolate covered medjool date with the almond inside and sprinkle of sea salt on top. Her advice:

Freeze a package of Duzu Dates; put in your pouch when you start your bike ride. Two-three hours into your ride or when you need an energy boost, your dates are thawed and the perfect source of energy!

Dates are made of natural but simple sugars. When consumed, the sugar is easily converted to glucose for your blood cells to use as energy.

So enjoy dates before, during, or after exercise!
